Program Description

Event Details

June 26th through August 30th.

This year our Adult Summer Reading Game contains books from 9 different Book Groups we have done in the library at some point.  Some are current and some ended years ago. Some books have been discussed in these book groups already, some will be discussed in the future. Reading a book from one of nine categories: Banned Books; Celebrity Memoirs; Ileen Gottesfeld Book Group; Guilty Conscience; New Futurians; Not-So-Young-Adult Book Group; Once Upon a Crime; Short and Sweet and Stranger Than Fiction earns you one chance in the Game’s raffle. You can enter in person at the Information Desk or online. If you need to you can keep track of your progress by getting your Tic Tac Toe game card stamped at the library.  Earn a bonus raffle ticket by getting Tic Tac Toe.  You can then earn more bonus raffle tickets by getting additional Tic Tac Toe's on the same game board.

We have a reading list for each category to help you select a book. Choose a book from the list or pick a book that fits into one of the categories on your own. This year’s prizes will be gift cards to local restaurants including Encore Bistro Francais, The Larchmont Tavern, and Locals 10538.
