Program Description

Event Details

The problems from the 1960s were not settled by 1973. The United States did leave Vietnam in January. But the Middle East was a powder keg and
would erupt again with the Yom Kippur War. Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew were elected as President and Vice President in 1968 and each had a
problem. Nixon was be bogged down by Watergate and Agnew was facing charges of bribery that dated back to his term of Maryland Governor in the
1960s. In addition America faced a gas crisis that threatened to cripple the United States economy.

Evan Weiner is a speaker, author, with a radio and TV background.

Registration is not required unless you are going to participate via Zoom or want a reminder of this program.
