Once a controversial opera, Carmen is now the most popular opera performed internationally. Carmen is a timeless representation of love, lust and seduction gone wrong.  Tanisha will sing an aria from Carmen!  

Drawing on her innovative work at the Metropolitan Opera Music Library and Freeport Memorial Library, librarian and singer Tanisha Mitchell combines her knowledge and love of opera with visual imagery to create vivid presentations to foster music appreciation.  This presenter will NOT be at the library in person.
