Note: We have no more glasses to give away. We have set some aside for people to share on the Front Lawn during the eclipse.

Are you ready for Larchmont's partial eclipse? Don't forget that looking at the Sun can cause permanent eye damage, even when 90.4% of it is obscured by the Moon and it's cloudy.

If you want company during the eclipse, join us in front of the Library between 2:30 and 4:30. We'll have eclipse glasses, pinhole viewers and the like. These glasses meet ISO Standard 12312-2: filters for direct observation of the Sun.  The front lawn was standing room only during the 2017 eclipse and that eclipse only reached a measly 70.6% of totality. The eclipse will start at 2:11:02 pm, reach its fullest extent at 3:25:54, and will end at 4:36:35 pm. See you then!
