Event Details
A young scientist named Victor Frankenstein, intent on improving the human race, conducts experiments into human anatomy. After months of effort, Victor is successful in bringing his creature to life. But once alive, he's shocked at the horror he's created. The Witch's Tale, which aired from 1931 to 1938, was the first horror-drama on radio. The program was hosted by Old Nancy, the Witch of Salem, who introduced a different terror tale each week. The event will also include a talk on the real history of Frankenstein. Our audience and performers will include our blind & visually impaired community neighbors. “The Witch’s Tale Frankenstein” is co-sponsored by the Larchmont Library, the Sandbox Theatre, SPERDVAC (The Society for the Preservation of Radio Drama, Variety and Comedy), The Westchester Council for the Blind, LMC Media & the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club... and our event will also include a classic video appropriate to the Holiday season.
