John Singer Sargent was a gifted American artist who was considered the leading painter of his generation. In addition to his beautiful portraits, this prolific artist created roughly 900 oil paintings and more than 2,000 watercolors. His use of color and light added to the beauty of his works. Come take a close look at some of his most outstanding works.
Presenter Toni McKeen is a historian, professional researcher and lecturer in the tri-state area. She presents a wide variety of programs on travel destinations around the world, famous men and women through the centuries, architecture of famous architects and their buildings, as well as prominent artists throughout history. She is also a well-known local genealogist, conducting research on her family for the last 30 years.
