In, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, famous and free courtesan Violetta Valery claims that she will never be entangled by commitment. However, she reluctantly falls in love with Alfredo as her life is ending.
Drawing on her innovative work at the Metropolitan Opera Music Library and Freeport Memorial Library, librarian and singer Tanisha Mitchell combines her knowledge and love of opera with visual imagery to create vivid presentations to foster music appreciation.
