John Cuddy is a 40-year resident of Mamaroneck, and credits his artwork to the adult education courses he has taken at the Larchmont / Mamaroneck Continuing Education Center, his work at the Pelham Art Center with Eleanor Miller, and most recently, his participation in the advanced art class taught each week at the Mamaroneck Senior Center by Patricia Miner Sutherland. He has exhibited at the Warner Gallery at the Mamaroneck Library, and his photography is currently on display at the Larchmont Village Hall. When not drawing, painting or snapping photos, John is semi-retired from the practice of law and spends much time with his wife, Nina, their three grown children and eight grandchildren.
This month's exhibit represents one local artist's depiction of a diverse range of subjects while exploring the different media of watercolor, oil paints, collage, pen and wash and photography. His black and white photography on display captures Mamaroneck Harbor in dense fog as well as several Larchmont landscapes.
