Please join us for a conversation with Kyra Darnton, President and Executive Producer of RETRO REPORT (an Emmy Award-winning independent, nonprofit news organization giving context and perspective on today's news and educational resources to teachers). 

And a viewing of one of Retro’s 250 educational documentaries Extremism in America. This short film explores key turning points in the growth of the extremist movement, from the 1980s to present day, and the missed opportunities to stop that movement before it spread. 

Kyra Darnton came to Retro Report from 60 Minutes, where her investigative reporting and storytelling won multiple awards, including a 2012 Peabody Award for a piece exposing fraud in cancer clinical trials. Retro Report’s distribution partners include The New York Times, PBS, and VICE TV.
