Awarded the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize for work with the Carter Center to promote human rights President Jimmy Carter is likely the most successful former President in American history. After leaving office as President in 1981 Carter returned to his hometown of Plains, GA (population 573). Once a week for 40 years Carter delivered a message on love and acceptance of all human beings regardless of status or position. The program features video of Carter’s 40-minute message and what it was like to attend his class while being watched over by the Secret Service.
