Event Details

Pierre-Auguste Renoir, the French Impressionist painter, was celebrated for his vibrant depictions of everyday life, the beauty of nature, and the warmth of human relationships. He was a major part of what would be called the new Impressionism movement, breaking away from the traditional way of painting at the time. Overcoming poverty, he created masterpieces emphasizing light, color, and human intimacy.  Let's take a look at his most impressive works.

Presenter Toni McKeen is a historian, professional researcher and lecturer in the tri-state area. She presents a wide variety of programs on travel destinations around the world, famous men and women through the centuries, architecture of famous architects and their buildings, as well as prominent artists throughout history. She is also a well-known local genealogist, conducting research on her family for the last 30 years.

This presenter will NOT be at the library in person.
